about the designer
Welcome! I’m Griselda, the founder and lead floral designer of Mint & Peonies Floral Studio.
My journey into floral design wasn’t just about a career change—it was about rediscovering myself. After spending 20 years in finance, I faced one of the most challenging times of my life: postpartum depression. In the midst of that struggle, I found solace in flowers. What started as a simple act of arranging blooms became my therapy, my passion, and ultimately, my purpose.
I built Mint & Peonies to bring beauty, joy, and meaningful floral experiences to life’s most special moments. As a Sonoma County wedding florist, I know that flowers do more than decorate a space—they tell a story, evoke emotions, and create lasting memories.
Now, as a wife, mother of three, and floral designer based in Northern California, I take a deeply personal approach to every wedding and event. Whether I’m designing a romantic garden-style bouquet, an intricate floral installation, or an elegant vineyard wedding tablescape, every arrangement is crafted with intention and artistry. I work closely with my couples to ensure that each floral detail is not only breathtaking in person but also beautifully captured in photographs—preserving their vision for a lifetime.
I believe that flowers are more than just décor; they are a reflection of your love story. From the soft romance of garden roses to the organic elegance of seasonal blooms, every flower is carefully selected to complement your wedding’s aesthetic and personal style. My work is deeply inspired by nature, art, and the emotional connection that flowers create.
If you’re looking for a Sonoma County wedding florist who truly cares about bringing your floral vision to life, I’d love to connect. Whether you’re planning an intimate vineyard wedding, an elegant estate event, or a refined destination wedding, let’s create floral magic together.

GET TO KNOW ME BETTER
If you know me, you know my favorite things—crisp fall mornings, early flower market runs, and Netflix marathons after long wedding weekends. There’s just something about that first breath of cool autumn air that makes me feel alive, the buzz of the market that sparks my creativity, and the pure bliss of finally kicking up my feet, cuddling up with my family, and pouring a glass of local Cabernet. It’s in these little moments—wrapped in a blanket, lost in a good show, surrounded by love—that I recharge and find inspiration for the next beautiful event.
